These top campsites in and around the area provide great amenities and scenic surroundings that will delight. 

Cherry Hill Park

Guests from all over the US and the world have pitched their tents here. Each RV site is equipped with full hook-ups with standard, premium, back-in and pull-through options. Other amenities are 30/50 amp electric, sewer and water, free cable TV and WiFi, outdoor picnic table and fire ring. Premium RV sites have a brick patio, wrought-iron tables and chairs and charcoal grill, great for barbecue or just getting together for an outdoor meal. 

Guests are welcome but must be registered before arrival. Pets are also welcome but do be sure to read up on their pet policies

Washington DC/Capitol KOA

Set across 50 acres of countryside, this KOA can offer both exhilaration and tranquility. 

There’s a choice of RV sites, camping cabins and even deluxe cabins. Campground amenities include a 50 Max Amp, 90’ Maximum Length, Wi-Fi, pool, firewood, pavilion, bike rentals and dog park. There’s a variety of activities for everyone and the kids can make many friends while having a great adventure. Campers can also go on a private or group sightseeing tour to view landmarks in US history.

The Treehouse Camp at Maple Tree Campground

Set across twenty acres of woodland, campsites here are secluded and tranquil. You’ll be able to reconnect with a more natural rhythm of life in these South Mountain retreats. The area provides a great venue for rustic celebrations and gatherings.  

That being said, it’s a wonderful venue for hiking and river rafting, so when you’re ready to get into something energetic, you’re never far away from the action. 

Tent campsites have fire circles, charcoal grills and picnic tables. Campgrounds have bathrooms, outdoor hot showers, heated winter showers, and pavilions. 

BayShore Campground, LLC

This campsite along the bay has magnificent sunset and landscape views. 

Only 3 miles away is a Wildlife Refuge, where there’s fantastic birdwatching to be had. Other recreational activities such as kayaking, swimming, dining, and shopping can be found in Rock Hall town, also located only 3 miles away. You get the best of all worlds, wildlife, recreation and fantastic camping locations. 

The winter season begins from the 1st of November. 

Castaways RV Resort & Campground

Experience ocean city camping in waterfront campsites with amazing views of the Assateague National Seashore and the Ocean City Skyline. 

There’s a good range of accommodation rentals. For those who enjoy their camping with all the creature comforts, cottages are available. These cottages come in four options, Main deck, Island Oasis, Club Castaways and Screened Porch.

Amenities include golf car rentals, fitness centers, and Top Gun, a great center where the whole family can enjoy a variety of water sports including jet skiing.
